Best young researcher paper award 2026

PhD candidates and early-career researchers (within one year of PhD defense) are invited to submit a paper to the PhD and Young Researcher Workshop, which will take place on July 1, 2026, in Strasbourg, as part of the ISS Conference.

The workshop is designed to foster interaction between younger scholars and senior members of the ISS community. Accepted papers will be discussed in small groups consisting of 4–5 authors and 2–3 senior discussants, providing an opportunity for in-depth feedback and exchange.

Authors wishing to participate in the PhD workshop should indicate this when submitting their paper in the "poster" section.
By doing so, they will automatically be considered for the Best Young Researcher Paper Award 2026
